A set of four expander inserts that widen Hidez compression socks: the right pressure, even on bigger limbs or over dressings.

Expander Inserts are an accessory for Hidez compression socks, not a standalone garment. They add width to the sock so it can be used on horses with larger or thicker-set limbs, or fitted over bandages and dressings, without stretching the sock beyond the fit it was engineered for. This set of four covers all four legs.

Why it works

A compression sock only delivers its designed graduated gradient at the correct stretch. Over-stretched on a large limb or over a dressing, the pressure becomes too high and the gradient distorts. The insert adds material width so the sock sits at its intended tension, preserving the correct graduated pressure profile that supports venous and lymphatic return.

Sizing & fit

Inserts run in the same height-based sizes as Hidez socks, from 14 to 19.2 in half-hand steps. Choose the size that matches the socks you are using them with. Correct fit still means correct pressure: the insert exists to keep the sock at its designed tension, so match sizes carefully and check the Hidez sizing guide if unsure.

Care

Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent. Air dry only, as tumble drying damages the compression fibres.
